America 20xy

Thanks to the mismanagement of several presidential campaigns that failed to get the 10,000 signatures required by last week’s deadline to get their candidates on the ballot, Virginia’s GOP primary race was set to include only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney, whose campaigns did the work necessary to meet the requirements. As Paul’s popularity bursts through the American establishment’s political brick wall, out of the control of the mainstream media’s manipulation, and as Rick Perry throws a tantrum and files a lawsuit over the matter, officials from both the Republican and Democratic parties are trying to retroactively change the rules so that other neocons are put into the race.
Virginia's Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is planning to file emergency legislation proposing that if the Virginia Board of Elections certifies a candidate is receiving federal matching funds, or has qualified to receive them, the candidate can request to be automatically added to the ballot. He’s supported by two former Democratic attorney generals, as well as former chairmen from both “major” parties. Sources told Fox News that Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell is expected to support the emergency legislation.
The real “emergency” in the minds of the political establishment pushing this legislation is that Ron Paul could win the state, which has 49 delegates at stake, especially if the voters are given only Mitt Romney as his opposition. Virginia’s ballot requirements have been on the books for over a decade and candidates in previous elections have managed to meet them. However, unlike in previous elections, the seeds of Ron Paul’s warnings about the economy and our disastrous foreign policy have quickly sprouted in a nationwide awakening and a populous push to steer the United States away from destroying its own currency and continuing to wage war on the world. The mainstream corporate media that exists to keep the gears of American minds stalled so that those of the American Empire continue spinning are failing to tame America’s growing support for Ron Paul, thus its legal and political gatekeepers in Virginia are trying to change the rules and accommodate candidates who couldn’t follow them. If they succeed it will serve only as an illustration in the history books of how the two-headed “print money/wage war” party that occupied America in the late 20th/early 21st centuries brazenly redrew the finish line to protect their destructive racket.
